Hello,

I use "Windows Mail" from Vista to download my mails from a private server.
The problem ist, that this mailprogramm erase all messages from the server
after the download.
Is there a possibilty to stop this?

Yes.

Tools > Accounts > your email > Properties > Advanced > Delivery >
check box "Leave a copy of messages on server"
