Hello,
I have a couple of servers running Windows 2000 (Server1 and
Server2). Both are domain controllers in AD, running DNS, DHCP.
I want to upgrade the server hardware for both Server1 and Server2.
Is there a simple way to perform this operation? Ideally, I would
like to backup Server1 (data and system state), turn it off, perform
a restore on the new Server1, plug the new Server1 onto the network,
and have everything working in AD.
Is this possible at all? Is there anything that I should be careful
of? Any response would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
SteveC
