server timed out

I was able to upload using FP easily, then I started
recieving an error message saying the server has "" timed
out. (Yes, the quotation marks were there). I th9ought it
was a server problem and contacted them for help, and
they could find nothing wrong. I switched servers, and
now I can't even upload the web site to get started! I am
still getting the same errort message and I can find
nothing wrong. HELP please - I need this for my
students! Thanks!

Can you paste the exact error message you get? Do you have any files in
your web that are exceptionally large? Which version of FP are you using?
