Hi,
Please help if you can. It will just take a few minutes. I'm trying to find
out if the servers for Microsoft.Public Newsgroups is timing out the
Connection to their servers by visitors to these newsgroups, or if this is a
problem with my computer and setup. What happens is, if I have a period of
inactivity while reading the messages for say, 90 seconds or a little more, I
am then unable to open a new message for another 2 minutes or more. After
which, a info message tells me that my "TCP/IP connection was unexpectedly
terminated by the Server" or "Message could not be Displayed". "Outlook
Express encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this message. Check
your Computer for Low Memory or Low Disk Space". I have plenty of both. Once
either of these two messages are displayed, I can again access/open new
message bodies as before. If anyone else has noticed this behavior with their
Computers, while in the newsgroups, please add a note to this thread saying
so. Info: Although I cannot open any new messages, previously read message
bodies can still be opened. Thanks to all.
