Server shutting itself down

I've got a server that shuts itself down just about every week, but other
than the system event 6008 which just states there was an expected shutdown.
What else can I look at that might give me a clue what's going on? There
aren't any errors or any events in the application event log that were around
the time of the shutdown.

I'm noticing that this usually happens on Tuesday, but there's no schedules
in the windows scheduler and there don't appear to be anything out of the
ordinary running as a service that might cause this. I'm kind of stumped,
does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to troubleshoot this?

If no BSOD's occur (Event ID: 1001 Source: Save Dump), then it may be a
power problem. I would look at a possible faulty (or undersized) pc power
supply, UPS, bad battery, or the circuit feeding the outlet that the pc is
plugged into.

No BSODs it just reboots itself. I checked the UPS and it's saying the
battery needs to be replaced so that could very well be what the problem is.
This server isn't in the mainstream with the other servers, it's off in a
closet in the other building.

If the UPS battery is bad, that is your problem. When the UPS tries to
do it's periodic self-test it can't maintain the AC output long enough to
switch back to using the incoming AC power. You should
replace the UPS battery long before it gets to that condition. If the
battery can't provide AC long enough for the server to do a normal
shutdown, it has reached end of life and should be replaced.
