Server Shut Downs

is it possible to send an email to myself if a server shuts down
unexpectdelty or if someone shuts it down gracefully

i really want this on one particular Terminal Server, i have removed the
shut down option via group policy now, but would still like this as
Management on the remote site inform me that it seems to shutdown at night
but is working again in the morning and nonone was shutting it down at their
end

Hi Haigy,

Yes, you can do a remote monitoring of the server and then be alerted when something
happens on that server. Here is an article link with the informaiton on remote performance
