"Server" service failing to start.

The OS is Windows 2000 Advanced Server SP3

The server was victim to an unexpected power outage and
was not on UPS.

Upon re-starting the server we found that the "Server"
service and all its dependants have not started.
The only error found relating to this service was as
follows.

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7023
Date: 07/10/2003
Time: 08:43:11
User: N/A
Computer: XXXXXXXXXXX
Description:
The Server service terminated with the following error:
The specified module could not be found.

I am unsure how to proceed, I have tried CHKDSK and this
found nothing.
pls help!!

Please try updating the service Pack 4 or reinstall SP 3.
This will correct / replace any missing modules.
