Hi

I have a few HP Proliant 3l380 and ML530 all with Xeon CPUs in them. They are running differing versions of win2k server or winsk3 server.

All of them report twice as many CPUs as they have.

I know this is to do with Hyper-Threading, but how can I get the servers to report the correct number of CPUs?

This is playing havoc with some apps that install licenses by CPU and so will not install unless we purchase more.

Any help apreciated.

Try turning off Hyper-Threading support in the BIOS.
