I recently stripped and rebuilt my server and everything in it

Included removing all server slide lids and front grills and getting rid of any dust

Cleaning all fans

Making new slider rails from PV rooftop Profile framing (Grade A Aluminium)
Proper slide rails are £30 each set for second hand ones (not gonna happen)

Grinding and bolting all new slide rails in place ready for server to sit ontop of

Tidying up some cabling and zip tying it together

Making new EIC leads to fit into Server power rail

Then the job of putting it all back together

This is what I use to host movies to my Popcorn media tank (which is soon to be replaced by a new model)

And a large amount of WCG points come from this machine as well

Lol. Having a brew inbetween would be a must for me. Ahhhhh tetley hahahaha

At least it's done now. Whats the plan next? I read you're going to have a new system in place in the near future?
 
Not usre mate tbh. Was made redundant yet again beginning of Jan so priority now is to keep head above water, hard to do that if I keep buying gadgets lol
 
Tell me about it. If I saved what I spent on stuff I don't need I could probably by a new car lol.

Sorry to hear you were made redundant again. What kind of area you looking to get into?
 
I'll do anything which will allow me to contribute toward the upbringing of my son and allow me to pay my way with a couple of luxuries a year

Certainly not a lot to ask for. I don't have any children myself :( I'm 63 and I look like Victor Meldrew ...............................................................................

Only joking. I'll actually be 36 this year. How time flies though.
