Easy Question. What rights does a builtin account "Server
Operator" have reqards to managing user accounts on a
Windows 2000 server with service pack 4 installed?

Hello Scott,

Members of the Account Operators, Server Operator, and Print Operators
groups have the same access permissions as in NT 4.0.

Excluding Administrators, the Server Operators group is granted the most
rights. Member os this group can manage a domain's servers, which include,
but are not limited to, creating, deleting, and managing printers and
network shares.

They can also log on locally to the server, change the system time, shut
down the machine, and back up and restore files and directories.

Thank You.

Diana.
