Server name

Last weekend I Join add a new child server to the corp
domain. I just now realized it was not named right. So
now nobody in that domain can browse the network. Is there
any way to change the server name without demotoing and
reprotoing the server.

if w2000 than no you must demote to member server then change name and then
promote back to DC
