We are planning to migrate from our current server which is running Novell
5.0 to a new Windows 2003 server. We are going to have some serious issues
with a lot of our spreadsheets that have links in them. I was wondering if
there is any migration tools that would help us with the UNC names that the
links use? or anything else that might be able to help with this issue.

Kind of Off-Topic, but anyway--

I migrated from Novell 4.something to Windows 2000 three years ago.

I created a shared directory called 'sys' on the Windows server and
copied the Novell sys directory to it, created the user accounts, and
set the user permissions for the \sys\home directories. After the
Novell was offline, I gave the same hostname to the Windows 2000
server, and voila! The programs on the client computers didn't know
the difference! Obviously, I had to change the network client on each
workstation to Microsoft Network, and deleted the x:, y:, and z: drive
mappings (Novell search drive mappings on the server I inherited).

You will probably have more configuring to do, but this part seems
relevant to preserving links.

Good luck, and make plenty of coffee for this one!
