Server Loses Forwarder Settings

Thought someone might know about this....

I have primary and a secondary DNS server which is running
NT 4.0 SP6a. I have set up a forwarder to my ISP. My
problem is that it loses the Forwarder settings. It seems
like this happens if I go into the tab where you add or
change IP addresses for the forwarder settings. If I don't
change anything and click OK, go out and go back in the
information is gone. Any body else dealt with this.

Thanks
Mike

It's been a while since I've seen NT but I believe there is an update
selection if your right-click on the zone. I think this is similar to Cisco
in that you have to tell it to make the changes permanent.

In
Try forcing it in the registry and let us know if that helped. That would be
under the DNS service key.

When is the last time you ran your SP?
NT is very whiney about wanting SPs after any updates, and OEM updates
following that and then Exchange SPs after that if that is also on the
server.
