Derrick

hi,

whenever i added my router's ip addr into the default
gateway for my win2k server, my network will get jammed
up.

i run netstat in the command prompt and found these
results.

Active Connections

TCP intranet:3770 192.169.17.65:microsoft-ds SYN_SENT
TCP intranet:3771 192.169.18.65:microsoft-ds SYN_SENT
TCP intranet:3772 192.169.20.65:microsoft-ds SYN_SENT
etc, etc...

the numbers just keep running down. the moment i remove
the gateway, everything return to normal.

can someone please help me? i lost!!

That looks suspicious - like some sort of virus or worm activity to me.
Have you scanned the server for viruses?

i did and nothing was found...
