server is not accesible

yes i can ping them by name and i get the fqdn returned. I
specify both preferred and alternate DNS ip addresses
which are the ip address of our ISP.

i try browsing thru the network neighbourhood but i cant .

what must i do next

Remove the ISP's immediately and point only to your own DNS only. Use a
forwarder for efficient Internet resolution.

The client machine should only point at the internal Windows 2000 DNS server. Do not point at the ISP. Next, if you are trying to "Browse" for resources on the
internal network, make sure that Netbios over TCP/IP is enabled on all machines in the domain and that you are pointing at a WINS server on all machines.
