Hi;

is there a way to program/config the submit button on a form to send the
form to an email address without using fornt page server extention? or amu
other option?
 
Yes, check with your web host to see what server-side script they support and then locate a Form
Handler written in that script.

Yes, there's plenty of solutions about for form processor scripts. Your
host might even provide an alterative to the FP form processor.
Google "email form scripts" or "email forms".
