Server Extensions?

I recently had my IT guy set up Windows Server 2003 on a local server that
our employees will be able to access. I am running FP2003 with Server
Extension Versions 6.0.2.5516 (I found this in Tools | Site Settings
|General). Below that, it says that "No server is currently in use."

I am using the database wizard to call info from a database. I believe I
have set it up correctly (based on previous posts I have read here in this
forum). I can display HTML files and see them in my browser, but I get an
error message when I try to view my .asp pages. (I can view the code, just
not the database results).

Does my IT guy need to install something on the Server?

Thoughts?

Windows Server 2003 comes with a number of things turned off by default.
Things such as the FP Server Extensions, and even ASP, ASP.Net, and CGI.
Make sure the IT admin has enabled the extensions and things such as ASP
since they have to be turned on explicitely as a security measure.

Thanks much!

1. Make sure that IIS was installed along with FP extensions
2. Make sure ASP is enabled
3. Make sure you are always opening and working in the site via http, not c:\..

Mark,

I had my IT guy do all of that stuff and I still get the same error message.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks much!
