Hi,
I'm trying to send a new post and am getting the following error:

Windows Mail could not post your message. Subject 'Hi-test', Account:
'xxxxxxx.microsoft.com', Server: 'xxxxxxxx.microsoft.com', Protocol: NNTP,
Server Response: '441 (502) Article Rejected -- Access Denied.', Port: 119,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 441, Error Number: 0x800CCCA9.

It's to access a beta I,m involved in. Set up like every other time;
which has worked.

Any suggestions???

Jeff

Steve,
Thanks, but still getting the same error.
Any more help?
Can't post in beta at alll.
Server accepts my credentials;and allows downloads of ng's, but error
whenever I try to post.
Jeff

Try deleting the account and closing WinMail. Then open it again and try
adding it back again.

Steve,
I'll try that.
Thanks,
Jeff
P.S. If you don't see a post from me;thats because I may get drastic; and
reformat/reinstall the whole o.s.
Not only this issue; but a plethora of bugs; in the RC1 tree too!!
Very disconcerting;to say the least.

Steve,
Pardon that last rant!! LOL
To further my assumptions that its Vista; I tryed accessing using OE in XP.
And to my great relief; seems you may be correct about the server.
It's not working in XP either.
Same exact error message.
I set up per instructions; ie. my nntp requires login;with my beta id and
password.
And still;in OE; access accepted;downloaded ng's; can see messages; no post;
that exact error message in OE. So;not Vista's fault.
Am I missing something here? Set-up wise?
Jeff

If the same issue in XP, then I'm at a loss to figure it out. It could be a
"connect" issue and you may ask them. You can try enabling a log file for
NNTP (Tools | Options | Maintenance in OE) and then see if that helps you
figure it out.
