Hi,
I have asked a similar question before about the Error
message that follows, in regards to what and where the
problem is. But, what I am asking now is, would this be
an indication that the hosting site has more business
than what they can handle or too small of a server for
the amount of hosting sites they have?
This is the error message (exact):
"Server error: Web <Root Web> is busy.
Please try again"
What is happening is that my hosting company can't seem
to correct this problem and states that my site is too
busy to handle the hits and the changes at the same
time. So he suggested that I make my changes either
later in the evening or very early in the morning. (My
site is not very busy, maybe 60 to 70 hits a day.)
Currently he has suggested, and is now working on, to
start another hosting account on a windows
2000 server for me. Would this solve the problem or make
any difference? I am running FrontPage 2002 with Win XP
Pro on a Pentium 4 - 1.6GHz processor and I believe he is
currently running a Unix(?) system (I am not sure about
this, but I do remember seeing this someplace).
I am just really having a heck of a time with this, and
sometimes it seems to run really good making me forget
the problems. I would like to know if it would be worth
making a change to another "HOSTING COMPANY?"
Thanks for listening, and for your help.
Regards,
Bud
