OK so I found out why all of a sudden I was unable to communicate to
my LDAP server. When I first got your message I then tried to connect
vi Internet Explorer and Mozilla to my ldap server by
ldap://ldap.server and was getting a connection error. So I thought
back to what I might have changed on my computer that would cause this
(since I am developing locally) and it hit me. Just before this
problem I had installed Microsoft Active Sync 3.7 to start
synchronizing my pocket PC with Outlook. I started also getting
memory errors (WCESMgr.exe couldn't write to memory...etc.). Once I
uninstalled Active Sync everything has been working fine.
