Server Error Memory

Last week my client, (a new client, being a Dentist) asked me to help with
his memory error message. The event log states: "Error in memory -paging
file" numerous times.

Any advise on what is the cause of this, and how to go about fixing such a
thing? It's affecting his SQL server too, which is what functions his Dentrix
software for scanning patient's X-Ray's into the system.

I am open to hear what you may think the problem is?

When you view the logged events in Event Viewer (double-click them in the
right-hand pane) in the upper right corner, third button down is a copy to
clipboard, then you can paste in the body of a reply message.

Please do so for each of the different System Log events (that are a Type:
'Error' or 'Warning') since last boot so we can see all of the event detail.

Also check Device Manager for error codes and or non-starting devices.

Hi Patrick-

I will do that today, after I get his internet up again... there seems to be
problem with that! Strangely enough!

I will get the internet up and do as you ask and paste it into the forum
here for you to read. Hopefully this morning.

Dave Patrick-

I have opened the event log, the application panel shows some errors as
ISSInfoCtrs errors. in the Small Business Server Administrator Console, it
displays "Critical - under severity, and Data Collector is displays Cache and
memory - with the threshold reporting: "Cache - Error Code (From WMI)
Critical Condition. WMI Status: 214774"

While under the memory error of critical, in tells me the threshold is Pages
Input/sec >5 - Memory: Critical condition WMI Status: 21477"

As well, it show sup numerous times in the log in the console. As in event
viewer is shows the errors as "IISInfoCtrs" - apparently something is serious
wrong, because now users can't access the applications without getting errors
of it stating another workstation is online using this application.

Any advise is most appreciated.

Dave Patrick-

came form the event log.

Hope this helps?

If the drive the pagefile is on is full then this is more than likely the
problem. You'll need to free up some space.
