Trying to update my website having added another picture on one of the
pages. When I try to Publish Web I get the following Frontpage message:-

Server error: Cannot open file ".floor_tiling.htm.tmp" for writing.

I can't find a way round this problem and would appreciate any advice.

Many thanks

Is there really a dot preceeding floor_tiling...?

Go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download
FP Cleaner

Run the functions that clear the FrontPage Temporary files and the
Cache(.web) files.

See if it helps.

Check the amount of space you have left on your server. This error
often occurs when the available space (either on the server's hard
disc, or your account) is in short supply.

Check what Ronx said abt available space on your host server, if that's not
it:

Try renaming the floor_tiling.htm page to something else.
Then Tools | Recalculate Hyperlinks
Then RePublish it to the host.

| Rob, yes there is a dot preceding floor_tiling

Very many thanks to Steve, Rob and Ronx for your help. It was a space
problem and now all is resolved.
Most grateful.
