Hello list.
Here is my problem:
XPE Target Designer Help says that 'Server Command Line Tools' component
contains various command line tools. But when i review files of this
component, i can see barely a half of utilities that described in help. In
particular, i would like to use powercfg.exe. File search shows that only
powercfg.cpl exist in repositories.
Thanks in advance...

What ever that powercfg.exe is, it is not standard part of Windows XP
Professional.

If you want to start Dialog "Power Option Properties" from command line.

Go to system32 folder and type:

C:\Windows\System32>start powercfg.cfg [enter]

Regards,
Slobodan

Thanks for reply, Slobodan.
However, i did not get your point. EWF, Minlogon and i suppose many other
components also are not standard part of XP Pro. But they are included in
XPE Tools. My point is that what i read in component's help is not what i
see in component's properties. So my question is - is it error in Help or in
Tools' content? Or maybe something else?
If you want to start Dialog "Power Option Properties" from command line.
Actually, i would like to *configure* power policies from command line.
C:\Windows\System32>start powercfg.cfg [enter]
Should it be powercfg.cpl?..

Sorry, Alexander I'm little distracted for the moment so I have not analyzed
more seriously your question in the first place.

You are right according to doc "Server Command Line Tools" should contain
files from Windows Server 2003.
But they are not included this is probably error at MS side that I hope that
will be solved it future with some QFE.

You should obtain this file by yourself and include it in mean time. This
should be legal I think, since it is mentioned in documentation.
Should it be powercfg.cpl?..
Yes it should, my mistake.

I'm using some API functions from "Power Management Functions".

Regard,
Slobodan
