O/S: Windows 2000 Server
ISP: Comcast, using a dynamic ip behind a Netgear RP614v2 router.

I recently set up and configured a Windows 2000 Server in my network. I am working on creating a server-client network. I have successfully been able to enable all of my computers (running Windows XP Pro) to connect to the server. The only problem is they have no internet access. My server though is able to get on the internet just fine. Currently I have DNS and DHCP installed on the server, along with Active Directory. Under TCP/IP settings, the gateway being used by the server is the address of my router (192.168.0.1) and the server ip is (192.168.0.5). What do I need to do in order to allow the other computers in my network to get online? Thanks!

You're not using 2 nics on the server, right (why not, is much safer)?
Make sure you have options 003, 006 and 015 set in DHCP-server, Scope
options.
Make sure the servernic does point to itself for DNS.
The ISP-DNS-numbers should be put in tab Forwarders of DNS-server.
Clients should be set to obtain an IP and DNS automatically from your
DHCP-server.

What do the clients have as their default gateway and DNS settings? DNS should point at the DC for DNS. The default gateway
needs to point at the router.

How would I configure the default gateway (192.168.0.5) to point to the router (192.168.0.1), since this server is not a DNS server for the internet. Do I add something into the DNS Forward Lookup Zones? Thanks!

Actually I do have 2 NIC's connected to the server, although only one is connected to the router. How would I go about configuring the server to use booth? Thanks!

Nic 1 (internal) should have a blank gateway, DNS point to its own IP.
Nic 2 (external) should be in a different IP-range, DNS should point to the
server-IP. Only TCP/IP should be bound to the external nic.
Check bindingorder (network connections, advanced, advanced) and make sure
internal nic is on top.

DNS-server should point to the server-IP, ISP-DNS-numbers should be put in
tab Forwarders.
