It looks like there was a bug in part of the software used to run PCR (which caused HTTP 500 errors on posting), so I did a quick upgrade this morning to try and fix this. At the same time, I patched some of the forum files to work with a newer version of PHP (5.4 vs 5.3).

If you notice any bugs since the posting of this message, then please do let me know! I've not had a chance to test this on my own PC like I normally would do, as this was a patch to get things working again.

Things may have been on/off for the 20 mins before this message was posted as I was trying to figure out what caused the posting error - I'm sorry if you were in the middle of a message when this happened (this is how I noticed something was up!).

Internal Server Error message

I'm guessing you're probably aware of this already, but, just in case.....

This morning, each time I hit my PCR browser shortcut, (using Firefox 23.0.1) the site requested me to log-in. That is despite ticking the "remember me" box.

I then made about three attempts to post in the WCG stats thread, each one producing the (attached) "Internal Server Error" message. (Last attempt was successful, btw.)

Time would have been about 10:35-ish, if that helps. :D

I was logged out when I came to the site a few minutes ago, other than that I've noticed nothing amiss.

Oops, sorry Ian, I've "cross-posted" about this in the Feedback thread. :o

All now seems to be fine again here. :thumb:

Thanks :)

I've merged your thread into this one TC :D. It looks like you found the bug around the same time that I did :thumb:.

Just had a 500 error message come up?
But that may be part of the ongoing problem?

Thanks feckit. I just had the same error - I'm trawling through the logs now :).
