We have recently (3 months) upgraded 3 of our servers to 2003. Our
problem is the main server seems to be loosing time. Over a period of
10 days or so it seems to loose up to 10 minutes. We have reset the
time on a few occasions now only for the server to still loses 10
minutes or more over the 10 day period.

Staff have complained now as they plan the end of the lessons by their
laptops clock, which are connected to the network.

Any suggestions what might be the problem or any suggestions of a
solution..?

If this is a member server, it should be synching automatically to your DC.

If this is a stand alone or a DC, you might try setting it synch with an
outside time server. For the DC do this with the following syntax from the
command prompt

net time /setsntp:time.windows.com

For a stand alone server you can set it the same way as the DC or do it from
date/time properties in the GUI.

Thanks Guys
