How can I put the new server 2003 how domain controller?

Assuming that you're trying to ugrade from 2000 to 2003:

You have a new Windows 2003 Box that you'll use in the future so that you
can remove the "old" Windows 2000 Box.

Do you have Exchange 2000 in use?
If so, you may get an error running adprep/forest prep because of mangled
