I had a system crash yesterday which was accompanied by
the following error signature on my screen: I have no
idea what it means, or what was "dumped" from the physical
memory. Since then I cannot get some of my things to work,
such as dial up networking with my local hospital, and the
dial up wizard. Did I lose these and what should I do to
get them back??

System recovering from a serious error. Log has been
created.

Files included in error report

C:\winnt\Minidump\Mini 112203.17.dmp
C:\DOCUME~OWNER\LOCALS~1\TEMP\WER7.tmp.dir00
\sysdata.xml

Then another warning came up saying the following:

Error detected windows shut down to prevent damage

Beginning dump of physical memory

I went to the minidump site on the C drive and have a
whole bunch of minidump files beginning in July.

If anyone can provide me with some advice I would be most
grateful. What do I do next?

Most Sincerely

Hi Ed,

See if this applies:

"STOP: 0x1000008E In EMUPIA2K.SYS" on Blue Screen After Upgrade [Q310740]
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=310740

Resolving it may also resolve the secondary error as well.
