When measekite accused me of not knowing the name of the company from
which I had gotten my very satisfactory 3rd party inks because it did
not exist, that I was making it up, I was offended. As I wrote, it had
been quite a while since I had gotten the ink becasue the large
containers have lasted a long time, and I just couldn't remember. I
should have waited until I got home to check the name of the company,
but I was ticked off at the insult and immediately searched on the web.
Unfortunately, the company I found was not the one from which I had
ordered, but another manufacturer, so I posted the wrong company. I had
considered the comapny I posted, and that is why the name popped up in
my mind, but for reason the order never happened. When I got home last
night I checked the shipment and found the correct name of the company
from which I oredered these very fine 3rd party inks. It is Image
Specialists in New York, not New Jersey, and here is their home page URL:

http://www.image-specialists.com/

Maybe I am easily impressed, but I remember thinking that their website
at least gave the impression that they were a very serious outfit that
had put a lot of research into inks. My comments about their inks for
my Epson 1270 still stand: FOR ME they have performed at least as good
as or better in every way compared to the OEM Epson inks. Ink is not an
extremely high-tech, esoteric material requiring many millions of
dollars to develop, so I would not be surprised that an independent
company can do a good job.

I apologize again. I should have never let my emotions get the better of
me and should have waited until I was certain of the company name. I
sincerely hope my error hasn't caused any of you much wasted time,
effort, or money. Incidentally, I have no idea how good the
Repeat-o-type inks are, since I haven't used them. They could be great
as well.

Now I'd really better go away with my tail between my legs.

Thank you for going the distance and posting the correct manufacturer. And
please, enough apologizing. People make mistakes. Owning up to them takes
maturity and responsibility. The real apology will never be heard from the
character, measekite, who has been doing this NG a disservice by spreading
misinformation about printing and haranging people for refilling cartridges
for several years at this point. To me, 99.9% of his remarks are simply a
waste of bandwidth.

Impressive, as Jan said please ignore the troll who accuses as many people as
possible of anything his inadequate imagination can drum up.
It's just great to see people contributing in a positive and honest way.

Thanks for correcting your error in terms of ink supplier, but you
really don't need to apologize for responding to "measekite"
"emotionally". He brings out the worse in most people. While you made
an error due to misrecollection, he makes statements that blatantly
misrepresent situations, with the intent of misleading readers on this
forum.

It is best to ignore him completely, since most people know his postings
don't require or deserve any response at all.
