I am having a series of problems and i don't know whether
this is because i have been infected by the Blaster worm.

1. Most of the computers on my network cannot copy and
paste in any application. It appears as if there is no
clipboard. You copy an item and you don't get the paste
command enabled to paste.

2. It is not possible to log on to some of the computers
from another computer. One gets the message
"Logon failure: the user has not been granted the
requested logon type on this computer"

2. Some of the computers get the message that the file
svchost.exe had performed an error and log was been
created.

Could someone please help me solve this proble. I have
applied the patch for the Blaster but I am still have
problem 2.

Please help me out with information

Thank you.

When did you apply the patch? You might allready have been infected.
Check again. Open Taskmanager and look for the msblast.exe-proces. Kill it.
Get the removaltool from www.sophos.com and install that patch again.

I believe you may have the blaster worm or other problems in
combination. You need to run an up to date [as of today]virus scan on your
computers. The infected ones must be repaired and patched with all critical
updates while not connected to any other computers on the network, or you
will be doing it forever. You also need to review your security practices as
far as patching and having a properly configured firewall. See links below
for more info. Calling in a professional who knows how to repair these types
of problems and secure your network will probably save you money in the long
run. --- Steve
