I'm trying to do a clean install on a new Serial ATA HD, but setup doesn't
seem to find the drive. I found someone with the same problem - most people
suggested updating from XP, but i don't have an XP copy cavailable. The
other suggestion sounded promising, but....
"...Go to FSC web-site (support/download) and download RAID driver into a
Flash
Drive. During install use "load drivers" button to load a disk driver from
your Flash. The disk should appear. Proceed as instructed with your
installation..."
.... what's the FSC website? So far the Forest Stewardship Council,
Federation of Stadium Communities, and the Fitchburg State Council haven't
been much help...

And sorry for the 80 posts - "We're sorry, but there was a problem with the
system and your post was not received. The error has been reported to
Operations and will be investigated as soon as possible. Please try again
later."
Not recieved eh? ¬_¬

This is a very common problem. The only way to do this is to install within
XP. You can download a trial version at MS for free. Then to a search for the
step by step info on doing this. I have posted them 200 times and frankly I
am tired of re-posting.

Thanks, that's really all the info i need, if that's the only way of doing
it. A little annoying though, download 3 Gig of XP just to update once it's
running. I didn't realise you could get a trial version either, so i'll
search for that. :)
Thanks again.
