sequential numbering of records

Hi all,

I need a sequential numbering of the records I print in my report.
E.g. :

1. banana
2. apple
3. melon
4. …..


However, I haven’t got the faintest clue how I can do it.

Any help will be appreciated.

Add a text box to the Detail section of your report, and give it these
properties:
Control Source =1
Running Sum Over All
