Sequencing More than One PP Presentation

PowerPoint 2003. I am preparing for our annual conference and have to run
the computer that will do the PowerPoint presentations. I have easily a
dozen PowerPoint files that will be used. Is there a way to organize these
files (sequence them) so that I can set up the order in which they will
appear and have them loaded automatically rather than having to browse for
each file and load it on the fly? Thamnks for any help.

There is a neat alternative which I like. Again make a plain slide with the
names of all the speakers on it. You can place them in boxes if you wish.

Save each presentation to a folder but [important] save them as .pps files
(PowerPoint Show). Highlight each speaker's name in your master slide and
insert a hyperlink to the PPS file relevant to that speaker.

Now start with the master slide. When you click on the name, the first slide
for that speaker will appear. When they are finished, after the black last
slide, the show will revert to your master, ready for the next speaker. If
your speakers change order, it makes no difference!

Two possibilities right off:

Make a copy of each file and change its extension to .PPS instead of .PPT
Put all of these .PPS files in a common folder or even on the desktop
Doubleclick the one you want to launch it in PPT, directly as a slide show

Or

Create a singleslide menu presentation.
On the one slide, create links to your other presentations
Click the link to start a presentation; when you ESC or otherwise end the
presentation, you'll be back at your menu slide.

Terry,

That's a neat idea.... There's a tutorial for that also at
