seprating contacts in groups

I have a bunch of names in my contacts and would likd
to seperate them. For instance my wife and I have a group
at church and I would like to put all the members in that
group in a seperate contacts list so when I email them I
can type an email and send it to all the members in this
one particular group. Is this possible and if so how can I
do it. Thanks a lot for anyone who takes the time to help
me.

Use categories. Select a Group by Category view and add a category to one
contact. Select the remaining church members and drag them to the Church
category group.

To send them a message, group by category, select the members then use
Actions, Send new message to.
