Separating Data & Programs

I always keep my data on a separate partition from the C: partition. This
enables me to image the C: partition and restore it if there is any problem
without losing my data.

On XP you could simply move My Documents. This doesn't appear to be
available in Vista.

How can this be done in Windows Vista?
 
Hi,

Open Windows Explorer to C:\Users\<username>\Documents, right click the
folder and choose properties. You can move it on the Location tab.

If you already have all your documents in another location, right click on
the Documents shortcut and modify the path to where you have your documents.
 
I've found you can Cut/Paste the folders to a new location.
Some of the Folders - Desktop & Favorites, However, end up having two
locations, so I do not move those.
