How can I get my Sent Mail folder emptied every time I log off - or close
Outlook?

Mark

Hi,

Well...it's depends on wich type of Outlook profile you are using.

For example: if you use a profile where you are connected directly to your
inbox on the server nothing must be done because empty the OUTBOX folder
is automatic except you have any specific problem. In this case you need to
update your Outlook with the most current fixes available on the
www.microsoft.com site (search for Outlook update)

Or

If you use a OST profile (Off-line Store) - when you are disconnected from
your Exchange server all messages sent will be waiting in the Outbox until
the next time you'll logon to the server.

BUT you ask about SENT folder? Yep? Well, in this case that folder never is
automatically empty because each message sent will be saved there. You can
modify this on the OPTIONS/PREFERENCES/EMAIL OPTION menu (Outlook). There
you can change that behavior.

That's all,

regards,
