Sent mail not appearing in Sent Folder - OL2000

There are no messages appearing in the sent folder. I enabled that option
under tools/options/email/email options but they still don't appear. I
unchecked the box and checked it again, Still no messages. It is not just
replies that are not there, but all sent mail. I sent a test message to a few
other email addresses and they did not appear. Anyone have any ideas??

What view setting do you have on the Sent Items folder? Have you used
Advanced Find to see if somehow the sent messages are going to other folders?
