Is there any way to make Windows Mail save a copy of sent messages in the
actual sent folder on the email server? (Not the 'Sent Items' folder under
Local Folders, but the actual 'Sent' folder I see when I log into my email
account online)

If not, I'm wondering what people do when they want to see a sent email and
don't have their personal computer with them -- i.e. they're at a public
computer at the library or something.

Only if you have IMAP service. POP mail doesn't have that feature.

Sorry, I don't have an IMAP account myself, so I have no way
of becoming familiar with its features.

Wow, I'm glad I found this post. I am trying to do exactly the same thing
myself. I hope someone out here knows how to set this up. I too am using IMAP.

Well I was expecting an answer to this post. I too am looking for the exact
thing. I have tried a number of things but no use. Can somebody please
help with this? I really need to save all my sent, draft etc messages on the
server and nothing locally.

I want to use windows mail just as an interface to my server mail folders
using which I can maintain them. I am using IMAP but still I have no clue
how to do this. IMAP doesn't seem to be IMAP with windows mail

Any help is really appreciated!

Thanks!
