I posted this in the general discussion forum in error.

I am using the Windows XP faxing program. Every time I send a fax it prints
on my default network printer. How do I disable this. I have been through
the Configuration Wizards and can no option that allows me to disable this.

Thanks.

I don't have the routing options page in the fax configuration option. I am
using the fax program that is included in XP. My XP cd is only sp 1.
However, I have downloaded and installed all available updates to date.

Thanks.

Go to Printers and Faxes, right click the Fax printer, select Properties,
click the Devices tab, click the modem, click Properties, click the Receive
tab, in the "When a Fax is received" section, uncheck the "Print it on"
checkbox.

Another thing, if this network printer happens to be a multi-function unit
with Fax capabilities and it happens to be plugged into the same phoneline
as your Fax modem, it will respond to every outgoing Fax and will print it.
The only fix for this is a different phoneline.
