Sensitive buttons look weird after having scrolled the page

Those sensitive buttons are not really useable. When I scroll the page
down and come back at the beginning of the page, the text on them is barely
readable. Anybopdy else has this problem? Turnaround?
 
What "sensitive" buttons are you referring to?

It is best not to use the hover buttons at all. They use a Java applet and
Java is no longer well supported by web browsers.

To get a similar effect, you can create two images and use the DHTML image
swap, or the javascript mouseover script of your choice, or if your buttons
are simple you can use CSS.
