Sendto shortcuts

I have looked around and cannot find anything about this anywhere. When I
right click and go to the send to option I have way too many options. I can
send to all of my personal folders and drives, but in the send to folder none
of these things are listed. Also, the personal folders are listed twice. How
do I get rid of all this?

You can type shell:sendto directly into the start/search box. Hit enter and
it should take you to here:
C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo

Do the extra entries show up there?

the shell:sendto command won't work. It tells me access is denied. So I typed
in the whole address and got to the sendto folder. All I have in there is:
Compressed (zipped) folder, desktop (create shortcut), documents, and mail
recipient.

Apparently C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo, the
default location, is no longer where the registry has a path to your SendTo
folder. Are you aware of ever having moved it? What addresses, in the
Registry, are shown for SendTo in these two keys?

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell
Folders
and
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User
Shell Folders

In the first key, the address, under Data, will be written something like
this:
C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo

In the second key, the address, under Data, will be written something like
this:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo

I looked up both keys and the second one was wrong so I changed it. Now I
have the shortcuts that I am supposed to (compressed folder, mail recipient,
etc) in addition to ALL the other crap.

Drives in the Sendto folder are a function of the registry. To remove
those, you can download nodrivesinsendto.reg, found here:

All the other entries you can hide or delete, by going to the
C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo folder.

thanks, the nodrivesinsendto.reg worked.
