Where has the SendTo folder gone?

I want to add a shortcut to NotePad, and remove some of the stuff I don't want
in there.

Nigel - I have the same problem - it is something I have used constantly in
XP - but seemingly it is not included in Vista - extraordinary!

Dave, can you give me the procedure for adding items to the SendTo?

Just drag shortcuts to the SendTo folder.

\AppData is normally hidden, so you will have to change the folder view to
show hidden files & folders

That simple? Thanks.

How very odd! I'd located this folder, and dropped a shortcut into it (via
Desktop), but it didn't work. I just did it again directly, and it now
works! Thank you.

However, there is still a lot of stuff on the SendTo menu that is not in
this folder; all the drives. Any idea where these are in the registry?

That's interesting, but what if I want some of the drives?

Nigel

Simply create a new shortcut and show the target location as the drive
letter. Location = C:, D:, etc. Place the shortcut in the SendTo folder.
