SendObject Problem

I'm using Access and Outlook 2000 to send reports to
various people. With certain e-mail addresses in the To:
field, I see between 2 and 4 small boxes after the e-mail
address.

My macro will continue sending e-mails to my Outbox.
However, once a message arrives in the Outbox with the
boxes, Outlook will no longer send e-mails.

I've noticed a couple of things:
1) The boxes ONLY appear after the last e-mail address in
the To: field.
2) The boxes always appear after the same e-mail
addresses. This is not random.
3) If I delete the offending e-mail address and click
send, the e-mails will be sent.

Has anyone else ever had this problem? Do you have any
suggestions??

Thanks in advance,

Bear

These boxes usually indicate that there are characters trying to be
displayed that the computer doesn't understand. This might happen if there
are characters such as 'tab' or newline (cr-lf) sneaking into the string in
a control that doesn't support those characters.
Is there any chance certain email addresses in your table have extra
characters after them? Check the ones that seem to cause problems and see if
that might not be the problem.

Bryan:
Thanks for the suggestion. The addresses are in the To:
section of SendObject. I checked the addresses and
couldn't find anything. However, when I deleted the
addresses and re-enetered them, they worked fine.

I realized that all of the address I'm having problems
with were cut and pasted into the To: field. That will
teach me not to cut and paste an address directly from an
e-mail.

Thanks again,

Mike
