I am trying to send a report to an e-mail address. I can
get this to work so long as it saves the report as an
attachment. The problem is I would like the report to be
the body of the e-mail rather than the attachment. The
reason being that the only format for the attachment that
saves the report correctly is "snapshot" (the report
contains pictures so rich text etc wont work), and
snapshot will not open on some of my suppliers (who the e-
mail is going to) pc's. Anyone know how to get it to work
in the manner i need?

You could generate pdf output from your reports.

Several PDF 'printer drivers' are available, so you just print the report to this 'printer'. Most allow
control of output resolution and compression for images, so you can generate output suitable for email
(rather than sending huge uncompressed bitmaps) or for print etc. PDF viewers are free, widely installed,
well standardized and generally stable.

how do i make it PDF format? its not on the list of
possible formats when defining the macro. Im using Access
2000, is it possible PDF is not availably in that version?

This is unrelated to Access or the Access version.
You need to obtain and install a PDF printer driver. Several are available, ranging from free to commercial.
A couple that come to mind are PDF995 and the full Adobe Acrobat product. There are several more, which
a suitable Google Groups search of Access newsgroups should reveal.
