Hi all
I am attempting to send photos from my Windows XP Pro computer to a Computer
with a Gmail account but the recepient never receives them. My computer tells
me
that the recipient needs to have windows in order to get the photos. Is
there a possible workaround for this problem without changing my OS.
Appreciate any helpful advice.
TIA.

Correction to post below..
I forgot to add that I attempted to send this as an E-card with the
intended photo through Hallmark Card Studio Deluxe 3.
Sorry

The e-card may be in a format that is being rejected
as a potential virus by the recipient's security settings.

Can you send a simple .jpg as an attachment?

Hi John
Thanks for your response.
I tried sending it as an attachment, but no change.
I finally was able to contact Hallmark/Sierra support who advised me the
file extension should be changed from exe to avi. I found (via Google) a
freeware program which my solve the problem but haven't had a chance to try
it out.

Thanks for the update.

FWIW .exe files can be mistaken for a virus.
That's why I asked if you could send a .jpg as
an attachment but you thought I meant the
..exe file.

Anyway...good luck solving the issue.
