All of a sudden, I am having trouble sending frequently visited websites to friends, such as MSNBC, CNN etc...I get a message saying they are potentially unsafe and when I select send anyway, it changes the look of the webpage. Recipents say the email has a virus (I do not have any viruses). WHen I first got Outlook 2003 I had these problems but then I changed the settings so I could send normal web pages. Somehow the settings reverted back to original and i have forgotten how to change the settings. Now when I send say an MSNBC article (I cant find the option in the article to send to a friend) it changes appearance and has allthese white text boxes in rows and the article I was trying to send is half way down the page. Please advise

Copy and paste the URL into the message body.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Katmido asked:

Because secure versions of Outlook block shortcut files, I recommend that
you use a little free add-in for Internet Explorer when you want to send
someone a link to a page. You can get MailTo_URL from
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/gallery/index.htm#mailto. It adds an "Email
Page" command to the right-click menu in IE and uses the title of the page
for the subject of the mail message.

Make sure that the registry entry you create to tell IE where to find the
application matches the location where you save the program.

To send the page itself in a message, your default mail format (Tools |
Options | Mail Format) needs to be HTML.
