when i send my slideshow presentation in powerpoint, it send the program
toolbars with it. i only want receivers to see the slideshow presentation

When you save your presentation save it as PowerPoint Show (*.pps). That should
cause the file to open in Slide Show mode.

Open your presentation, choose File, Save As and pick "Save as type:
PowerPoint Show (*.pps)"

This gives you the same file as your regular presentation file but with a PPS
extension. PowerPoint will automatically open this in slide show view (ie, it
won't show them the editing toolbars and so on).

Note: this does NOT mean that your presentation is protected in any way.
