Sending reports automatically

I have a report set up as a macro and I can
run the macro and it is sent to the appropriate people
thru e-mail. My question is this; is there a way to have
the macro run at a certain time each day without anybody
initiating the macro and thereby sending out this emailed
report automatically?
Thanks.

One approach to doing this would be to add a Timer event procedure to a form
you are assured will be open during the day. In that event procedure, run
your macro -- I assume it runs unattended now?

I have been working on this same thing. I can get my macro
to run using Microsoft Office's task scheduler. (It's
under Accessories - System Tools). It's pretty easy,
there's online help for it.
However, I am having a problem with Outlook whenever I run
the macro through scheduler or interactively, a dialog box
appears "A program is trying to automatically send email
on your behalf....." and I have to manually click Yes. I
have changed all the security settings that I know of in
Outlook. I even tried including SendKeys in my macro to
position to the Yes button and pressing it, but no luck so
far. Part of the problem is that there is a built-in 5
second delay before the Yes button is accessible.
Did you encounter any issue like this when you first
started emailing the reports?

Thanks, Jill
