Sending/Receiving winpopups

I can send popups messages to other computers in lan (net send
<username> "Hello!") but I can't receive messages from other computers
in LAN.

Same thing with ping:
ping 192.168.0.a (reply ok) (pinging from my computer to others)
ping 192.168.0.b (request timed out) (from other computers to mine)

Other computers cannot access my share (map network drive
\\192.168.0.b\share

Greetings Damir,

Juding from what you've indicated, it sounds like the Windows XP Internet Connection Firewall
is on. To turn it off, click Start, then All Programs, then Accessories, then
Communications, and then Network Connections. Right click your network/internet connection,
then click Properties. Click the Advanced Tab, and verify that the Internet Connection
Firewall is unchecked.
