After clicking on a photo and the E-mail this file tasks
opens, I click on E-mail this file. I choose my option,
click. The send mail box comes up in back of the send
picture via E-mail box and the preparing to send just
keeps going and going and going but nothing else happens.
I have sent pictures this way many times and never had a
problem with before.

Have you installed a firewall that may be blocking
the message?

If you open your e-mail program (Outlook Express
I suspect?)...do you have any problems attaching
and sending images?

Try running Disk Cleanup to delete your temp files,
temporary internet files and empty your recycle bin.

If you still have problems...post your Windows
version, SP1? SP2?, and the name of your
e-mail program.

Are you experiencing any other software issues?

.I have not installed a firewall and I did a disk clean
up, it didn't slove problem. Yes I have Internet Explorer
and always have to close it to open my Picture Task
Window, since downloading SP2. I went into Internet
Options and did what it said to do to turn off Info. Bar
for file downloads and Info. Bar for ActiveX controls,
still no luck. I use AOL and have no problems sending
pictures as an attachment or draging them to an E-mail. I
did have a problem when I had to reinstall AOL, the modem
kept saying there is no dial tone, I went by Fry's and
the Tech. fixed it in about ten minutes I think he had to
reasign a modem? I also mentioned to him that I didn't
want messenger popping up all the time and he did
something so it doesn't pop up any more. I also think he
took some other things off when my computer starts up
because I told him it was so slow to start up. Also when
I tried to send a picture today I noticed it starts to
send the picture before I click OK in options and I
cannot cancel it unless I go into task manager. I have
Windows XP Professional SP2. After I downloaded the SP2
that's when Internet Explorer Messenger kept popping up
all the time.

Thanks for the info but I don't see anything
that helps me offer a solution. Maybe your
tech could solve the problem for you.

Since you have AOL...the following info may
be useful but I am not sure that it will solve your
problem.

===================================

(((((((info for AOL9 is down below)))))))

How do I automatically attach photos when I
send e-mails with AOL?
http://www.photolightning.com/support.html#q7

1) Sign on to AOL

2) Click on the "Keyword" or "AOL Keyword"
button

3) A window will appear. Type in the word
Preferences and click on the Go button.

4) You will see another window appear
with a number of preferences that you
may set.

5) Click on the word Associations to
select AOL as your preferred application
for web browsing, email, and newsgroups.

6) Another window will appear asking you
to confirm your selection. Click on the OK
button.

=================

AOL9

1) Sign on to AOL

2) Click "Settings" on the tool bar

3) Click the "By Category" Tab

4) Click "Communications"
